Retiring Just A Runnah

I came to a very difficult decision the other night to retire Just A Runnah.  While it is not exactly what I had planned on doing, it is the right thing to do at this time in my life.

Last week I got a reminder in my calendar that I would need to renew Just A Runnah on at the end of January 2020. The cost for the plan that I currently have while reasonable is, to be honest just too much money for a hobby blog.

Due to the amount of data that I have used here, I cannot downgrade to a cheaper plan and still add content to my blog. So I had a decision to make, either pay the money or do something different.

After talking with Mary, weighing in the changes that I am making in regard to my technology usage and thinking about it for a while, I decided to move on from and create a new blog over at Blogger. I didn’t do this on the spur of the moment and thought about other alternatives, but in the end, the decision to move is the correct one.

I have enjoyed my time here at Just A Runnah and writing about running on various blogs for the last 8 years, but it is time to move on to something different and new to me.

I will continue to write about my running exploits, miscues, and adventures in life, but talk bit more about how the aging process is affecting my life, things that I learn about aging and some of the issues that are a part of getting old.

However, I will also write a great deal about the good parts of having the privilege of growing old in today’s world. As hard as it is to believe, getting to be an old fart is not all bad.

If you would like to continue to follow my adventures, please bookmark, follow by email/RSS feed my new site.

Thank you again for reading my meandering thoughts and posts here and I hope to have you continue to read my blog posts at my new blog.

Thanks again,
